The Blogdom. A Suburb of the Beandom.

On Twitter just a day or so ago J.C. Hutchins tweeted about a new podcast called SteamPod. It is a steampunk fiction podcast. As of this writing there is only one story up, and it is a fairly good story.

If I had to complain about something it would be the fact that the story is not, in my opinion, a story that might be good for people who are totally new to steampunk. The story, The Fantastic Junkyard, is about a group of culture terrorist who live as if in a steampunk era, but exist in a time in the future from now. Someone not knowing what steampunk is might be confused.

Again, I really liked the story, and I recommend you head over to http://steampod.org and listen, but if you don't know anything about steampunk, you might want to read the wikipedia entry first to get an idea.

I'm looking forward to hearing more.
